Marcus kept texting me about Stealth Interview for a month before i finally tried it. his Amazon loop had been coding heavy and the tool carried him through that, sure. forty nine dollars on Starter and he got his offer. cool. my situation was different though, five rounds and only one was actual LeetCode stuff. behavioral, system design whiteboard, forty five minutes of an interviewer going through past projects, hiring manager chat. Stealth Interview sat there doing nothing for four of those five rounds. forty nine bucks for one round lol. i texted Marcus after round three like dude this thing is asleep.
the pricing confused me at first too so let me just lay it out. Starter is forty nine a month with GPT-5.2 and GPT-5 Nano. Premium runs a hundred fifty for six months, about twenty five monthly, bumps you to Claude Opus 4.5. Hunter is two hundred fifty a year so roughly twenty one a month. decent models but you are locked to coding and system design. that is it. the review situation was what really got me though, thirteen ratings total at a 3.8 star average. Marcus said the tool was newer so ignore the count but i kept coming back to that number. thirteen. for something i was trusting my career to.
and then the platform gaps. Zoom and Google Meet work fine, plus HackerRank CoderPad CodeSignal. but two of my rounds were on Microsoft Teams and Stealth Interview does not connect to Teams. no Amazon Chime either. no Webex. i walked into those rounds with nothing which felt worse than going in without a tool at all because i had already gotten used to that safety net from the one coding round.
ok so after all that i tested three alternatives.
InterviewMan is twelve dollars a month on annual, thirty month to month. i did the math with Marcus over coffee and we both just stared at each other. five hundred eighty eight a year on Stealth Interview Starter versus a hundred forty four for InterviewMan with unlimited minutes, every round type covered, stealth built in from the jump. he switched the same week lol. the stealth is another level too, Marcus opened his laptop and told me to find it in Activity Monitor, nothing, checked the dock, clean, tried screen recording, invisible. twenty plus countermeasures on every plan -- invisible dock mode, process name masking, screen recording proofing. works on Windows macOS Android iOS Chrome, connects to Zoom Teams Meet Chime Webex HackerRank CoderPad Codility. fifty seven thousand users, two fifty seven reviews, 4.8 stars. i spent a whole evening reading those and people specifically talk about behavioral and system design answers being good, which is the exact thing Stealth Interview could not do for me. held up even when i filtered for non-coding rounds. for more on this see the best interview AI tools for 2026 or the full AI interview assistant guide.
LockedIn AI runs fifty four ninety nine monthly, thirty nine ninety nine quarterly, sits between the Stealth Interview tiers price wise. money back guarantee which i appreciated and forty two languages with models from OpenAI Claude Gemini DeepSeek. way more model variety than Stealth Interview on any tier. fifty eight thousand users, Chrome extension plus desktop app. but Jake, Derek's buddy, went through it during his actual loop and his Amazon system design ran two hours ten. tool died at ninety minutes. session cap. his Meta onsite same thing, last thirty minutes of coding he was on his own. still texts about it. i think about my own system design round going past ninety minutes and my stomach drops. what good is stealth if the thing disappears when your interview goes long. for the side by side see InterviewMan vs LockedIn AI.
Interview Solver is thirty nine monthly, thirty quarterly, plus a fifteen dollar one time pass if you just have one coding screen left. i used that pass for a final HackerRank thing and it was fine for what it was. ninety bucks for three months still less than two months of that forty nine dollar Stealth Interview Starter which is kind of wild. coding only though. LeetCode HackerRank live sessions, companion mode and flowcharts are nice but no behavioral, no system design, nothing else.
stealth matters more than anything else here. get caught on a live call and it is game over, way worse than going in with nothing. Stealth Interview takes the desktop native route, grabs system audio directly so no browser extension shows up. clever approach and the name obviously screams anti-detection. but i spent an hour looking for actual details on what it does to stay hidden and found nothing. no process hiding mentioned anywhere. no WebRTC blocking. no dock invisibility. the site says "undetected by screen sharing apps" and that is it. Could those thirteen reviewers all be right? maybe. but fifty seven thousand InterviewMan users and two fifty seven reviews where hundreds of people specifically confirm the stealth works, i mean. i kept going back and forth on it and that gap just never closed for me.
after going through all of this the model behind the tool stopped mattering to me. GPT-5.2 or Opus 4.5 during coding, great, but what am i paying for if the tool cannot help in four of five rounds. i needed behavioral technical coding system design all covered, i needed it invisible, and forty nine dollars a month for something that only partially showed up was not it. InterviewMan handles all of that at twelve bucks. Marcus is on it. Jake switched after the LockedIn cap situation. if you specifically need GPT-5.2 or Opus 4.5 for coding then sure Stealth Interview could make sense, but between the platform gaps and those thirteen reviews i would personally rather go with tens of thousands confirming the stealth works lol.
